Frequently Asked Questions
Everything buyers ask before ordering — from minimums to shipping, plus answers your retail buyers will ask you.
Wholesale Basics
What is the minimum wholesale order?
50 sets for stock and custom-logo lines; bespoke packaging is quoted separately.
What does a bulk set cost?
Typical factory range is US$50–120 per set depending on material, tiles and customization — exact tiers on request.
How long until shipment?
Around 31 days from order confirmation for standard programs.
Can I get my logo on the sets?
Yes — engraving or UV printing from the 50-set minimum, with printed packaging as an add-on.
Which shipping methods do you support?
Sea freight (FCL/LCL), air freight and express courier, FOB or delivered terms.
Do you offer dealer pricing?
Volume tiers apply automatically at quotation; distributors get first allocation on stock lines.
For Your Retail Buyers
What comes in a wholesale American Mahjong set?
Each set includes 166 tiles (152 standard + 8 jokers + 6 blanks), 4 racks with pushers, dice and a wind indicator — the full NMJL-compatible configuration retail customers expect.
What tile materials can I stock?
Two mainstream options: melamine (matte, everyday durability at sharper price points) and acrylic (glossy, premium retail positioning). Both are produced in-house to consistent standards.
Do my retail customers need an NMJL card?
Yes — the card is purchased separately from the NMJL each year and is required for standard American play. Many retailers bundle or cross-sell the current-year card with set purchases.
Customization & Private Label
What is the MOQ for custom-logo mahjong sets?
Custom engraving and printing start from 50 sets on stock tooling. Fully bespoke packaging programs are quoted individually based on materials, print specs and volume.
Can I brand the packaging without changing the tiles?
Yes — and it is the fastest first launch. Standard sets with your printed retail box, branded inserts, barcode labels and carton markings.
Can I put my logo on tiles, cases and boxes?
Yes. Logo placement is available on tile backs, jokers, cases, bags, inserts, retail boxes and cartons depending on production method and order quantity.
What artwork files should I send?
Vector files (AI, SVG, EPS, PDF) are preferred; high-resolution PNG or PSD may work for printed artwork. Include Pantone references, logo files, a tile map and packaging dielines where available.
What is the difference between private label and OEM?
Private label applies your brand to an existing or lightly adjusted product. OEM is a deeper custom build — artwork, colors, packaging, accessories and sometimes dedicated molds.
Do you offer white-label sets ready for branding?
Yes. Existing set structures with customized packaging, inserts, labels and selected logo placements — the quickest route to a branded assortment.
Can you match a specific Pantone color?
Pantone matching can be requested for tiles, packaging and printing. Exact matching depends on material and print method; sample approval is recommended before bulk runs.
Can I order custom mahjong mats in bulk?
Yes — mats, table covers and play mats can be quoted as standalone accessory projects or bundled with full sets, in neoprene, felt-style or rubber-backed constructions.
Can accessories be ordered separately?
Yes. Racks, pushers, bags, cases, mats, dice, inserts and packaging can be sourced or customized separately at practical order quantities.
